Reeson Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive SEN school in St Helens. This is a full-time, long-term role starting ASAP, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact.
The school provides a warm and nurturing environment for pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning difficulties. Many of the students have found mainstream settings challenging, and this specialist provision focuses on delivering personalised support and tailored learning to help every child succeed.
Key Responsibilities- Support pupils with SEND in the classroom, in small groups, and on a one-to-one basis
- Work closely with teachers and external professionals to implement individual learning and care plans
- Encourage independence, confidence, and celebrate progress at every stage
- Be a reliable, proactive, and patient Teaching Assistant
- Have strong communication skills and a genuine passion for inclusive education
- Provide consistent, calm, and positive support to pupils
- Be resilient and committed to making a difference in students' lives
