We are seeking experienced and aspiring Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in St Helens. After a very successful year supporting schools across St Helens The Education Specialists are looking for new Cover Supervisors for both full time and flexible part-time work. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain classroom experience and support student learning.

Secondary School Cover Supervisor role requirements:

• Previous experience working with young people (school-based desirable)
• Confident managing a classroom independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive and adaptable approach
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through The Education Specialists

The successful

Secondary School Cover Supervisor will:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Ensure pupilsremainengaged and on task
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour
• Support a positive and structured learning environment
• Build strong relationships with pupils and staff
