The Opportunity

Prospero Teaching is looking for enthusiastic GCSE English & Maths Tutors to support secondary-aged students across St Helens.

Working on a 1:1 basis, you'll help learners strengthen subject knowledge, prepare for examinations and develop the confidence they need to succeed. Sessions are personalised to suit each student's individual learning style and academic needs.

Experience, Training and Qualifications

Successful applicants will have:

Experience teaching GCSE English and/or Maths
QTS, PGCE or equivalent qualification (preferred)
Strong curriculum knowledge
Excellent communication skills

To be eligible, you must:

Hold the Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or be willing to apply
Provide two professional child-related references
