SEND Maths Tutor - St Helens
Do you have a strong Maths background and experience supporting young people with SEND?
The OpportunityWe are currently seeking a SEND Maths Tutor to provide individualised educational support to a learner across St Helens.
The role will involve delivering Maths tuition on a 1:1 basis, whilst adapting your teaching style to suit the learner's individual needs.
The successful tutor will be able to build rapport, make Maths accessible and engaging, and support the learner to develop confidence alongside their academic progress.

Qualifications:
We're particularly interested in candidates with:
- Strong Maths subject knowledge
- GCSE Maths teaching or tutoring experience
- Previous experience working with SEND learners
- Experience supporting SEMH, Autism, ADHD or other additional needs
- QTS, PGCE or equivalent desirable
- A patient and adaptable approach
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child-related references
