Science Teacher

This part-time position, running from January to June 2027, offers the chance to work with students across KS3 and KS4 in a welcoming environment that values high-quality teaching, collaboration and student achievement.

As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a positive learning environment and supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes.

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
• Assess, monitor and track student progress.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and wider school staff.
• Contribute to departmental planning and development where required.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• A passion for Science and student achievement.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
