We work closely with secondary schools across the region, providing support during busy examination periods, including GCSE and mock examinations.

What does the role involve?

As an Exam Invigilator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring examinations run smoothly, fairly and in accordance with school and examination board regulations.

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing examination rooms and ensuring all materials are ready before exams begin.

Supervising students throughout examinations and maintaining a calm, quiet environment.

Ensuring examination regulations and procedures are followed.

Distributing and collecting examination papers and materials.

Supporting students with examination instructions and procedures.

Monitoring students throughout examinations to ensure fairness and prevent malpractice.

Reporting any concerns or irregularities to the examinations officer.

Working closely with school staff to ensure examinations run efficiently.

We're looking for individuals who:

Are reliable, punctual and professional.

Have excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Can confidently supervise groups of secondary school students.

Have good communication and interpersonal skills.

Can remain calm and focused in a busy examination environment.

Are flexible and available during examination periods.

Understand the importance of confidentiality and safeguarding.

Previous experience as an Exam Invigilator is desirable but not essential, as guidance and training may be provided.
