We have a thrilling opportunity for a Social Worker to join the dynamic Duty Team in St Helens. What you will do:
  • Respond to all referrals received from the MASH and initiate necessary assessments and plans for children.
  • Participate in duty rotation once every four weeks to manage incoming cases.
  • Manage CIN/CP and PLO work, ensuring all processes adhere to procedural standards.
  • Conduct and manage Section 47 investigations efficiently, ensuring swift and thorough responses.
  • Collaborate with team members, offering support and ensuring the highest practice standards are met.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
  • Degree or equivalent in social work.
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Significant frontline experience in Social Services within the UK as a qualified Social Worker.
