Rate: £39 per hour

Full-Time | Duty 1 week in 4

Make an Impact at the Front Door of Children's Services St Helens is looking for an experienced Duty Social Worker to join their team on an agency basis. This is a key role working at the frontline of safeguarding, where your decisions and interventions will have an immediate and meaningful impact on children and families.

• Work within a duty and assessment function, responding to new referrals and safeguarding concerns
  • Undertake timely assessments to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 23, allowing for focused and effective practice
  • Participate in a duty rota (1 week in every
    4), ensuring a balanced workload
  • Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to make informed safeguarding decisions
  • Produce high-quality assessments and plans in line with statutory requirements

• Competitive £39 per hour rate
