HGV Class 1 Driver - Warrington People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Day Driver to join our well-established client based in Newton Le Willows, Merseyside. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, guaranteed minimum shift pay, and ongoing work with a leading logistics business. This would suit applicants who have worked as an LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver or Articulated Lorry Driver.

Rates of Pay: £18.00 per hour Weekly pay All holidays accrued seperately Shift Pattern:

Your duties as an HGV Class 1 Driver are:
Driving Category CE vehicles safely and efficiently Completing trunking, drop and swap duties Operating curtain-sided vehicles Securing loads using straps where required Taking photographs to document successful deliveries Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations Reporting customer concerns promptly to management Completing vehicle checks before and after shifts Reporting defects and maintenance issues as required Ensuring compliance with driver hours and road transport regulations Essential

Skills:

To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need: A minimum of 12 months' HGV Class 1 driving experience A valid UK Category CE Driving Licence A valid Driver CPC Card A valid Digital Tachograph Card No more than six penalty points for minor offences No major endorsements, including DR10, DG10, IN10 or TT99 Strong customer service and communication skills Good spoken and written English Excellent timekeeping and reliability Training:
