Reporting to the Head of Business, you'll provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and development to a team of Sales Executives, driving performance across sales targets, quality standards and customer experience. The role is fully office-based in St Ives, five days per week.
Main Responsibilities:
* Providing day-to-day leadership, coaching and support to a team of B2B Sales Executives
* Holding regular one-to-ones, development conversations and performance reviews to build capability and confidence
* Delivering clear, constructive feedback that helps team members understand strengths, close skill gaps and grow
* Driving team performance across sales targets, quality KPIs and customer experience metrics
* Using data and insight to identify trends, risks and opportunities, taking proactive steps to improve outcomes
* Embedding quality standards and ensuring consistency across every customer interaction
* Supporting all new sales training including induction, ongoing development and refresher sessions
* Identifying individual development needs and creating effective training to address them
* Managing sales agent pipelines and supporting outreach and nurturing tactics
* Working collaboratively with wider teams to resolve issues and improve end-to-end processes
* Championing a culture of accountability, fairness and continuous improvement
Skills/
Experience:
* Proven experience leading or supervising teams, ideally within a B2B telephony or telesales environment
* Strong track record of delivering performance across sales, service and quality KPIs
* Demonstrated ability to coach, develop and performance manage individuals with clarity and empathy
* Excellent communication, influencing and decision-making skills
* Calm under pressure with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands effectively
* Collaborative, solutions-focused mindset with the confidence to challenge assumptions
* Proactive and resilient with a flexible approach to change
Salary &
Working Hours:
£30,000–£35,000 per annum, dependent on experience. Full-time, permanent, 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday — no weekends. Fully office-based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.
