Construction Worker

Job Description

As a Construction Worker, you will support custom home construction projects under the direction of the construction superintendent. You will contribute to residential construction activities by completing routine tasks independently, maintaining safe and clean job sites, and delivering quality workmanship. This role offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in custom home building and pursue a pathway toward site supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Load, deliver, and unload lumber and other construction materials.
• Perform basic trim carpentry.
• Perform basic rough carpentry.
• Assist with basic plumbing.
• Install appliances.
• Help build decks.
• Maintain clean construction sites through sweeping and cleanup.
• Keep job sites safe and follow safe work practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two or more years of residential construction experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliability and dependability.
