Summary: As a Cashier, your primary responsibility will include operating a cash register to accurately ring up customers' grocery orders. You will be responsible for tendering multiple forms of payment while ensuring our customers experience a friendly, efficient checkout process. You will interact with a high‑volume of customers in a fast‑paced environment ensuring that all their grocery shopping needs are met.

Essential Functions:

• Greet customers
• Scan grocery orders
• Process coupons and collect payment
• Operate cash register and scanner

Other

Activities:

• Assist with facing candy, magazines and non‑food items
• Maintain area clean and tidy including conveyor belt
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge Requirements: A positive customer service attitude & pleasant personality, effective memory skills, good hand‑eye coordination, dependability, ability to follow directions & a strong willingness to learn.
