Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Infusion

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Infusion RN for a day shift position requiring port experience and a VT or compact RN license.

• Active VT or multi-state compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• CRNI certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience required, with 3 years preferred
• One year of acute care experience preferred
• BSN required
• Graduate of an approved RN School of Nursing
• Infusion RN experience and port access experience required

• Work in a busy hospital infusion center seeing approximately 15-20 patients per day
• Day shift schedule with 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift
• 13-week assignment
• Administer IV medications and therapies following hospital and INS standards while monitoring patient responses
• Coordinate scheduling, prior authorizations, and clinical order reviews with providers and payers
• Provide patient and family education on treatment plans and document teaching efforts
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records, medication administration logs, and transfusion records
• Work in a community, not-for-profit, acute care, critical access hospital setting
• Flu shot required with no exceptions
• Reliable personal transportation recommended as public transportation and rideshare services are not available in the area
• Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing
