Behaviour Teaching Assistant – Hastings SEMH School

Pink Tile Education are recruiting for a Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join a small, specialist SEMH school in Hastings supporting pupils who have struggled in mainstream education.

This is not a general “Teaching Assistant in Hastings” advert. This role is for a specific Hastings school with small class sizes, a strong pastoral team and pupils who need calm, consistent adults around them every day.

You will be supporting pupils who may present with challenging behaviour, anxiety, low confidence, trauma‑related responses, school refusal or difficulty regulating their emotions. The school needs someone who can build trust, stay calm under pressure and help pupils feel safe enough to learn.

The right person for this Hastings SEMH school may have experience as a Teaching Assistant, Behaviour Mentor, Youth Worker, Support Worker, Sports Coach, Residential Worker or Care Worker.

Temporary, permanent and temp-to-permanent options are available for the right Teaching Assistant.
