Alternative Provision Teaching Assistant – Hastings

Pink Tile Education are recruiting for an Alternative Provision Teaching Assistant for a specialist setting in Hastings supporting pupils who are not currently thriving in mainstream school. This is a specific Hastings provision working with pupils who may have experienced exclusions, disrupted education, anxiety, SEMH needs, behaviour challenges or low engagement with learning. The school needs a proactive, relational, resilient and consistent teaching assistant who can spot when a pupil is starting to dysregulate, step in early and help them get back on track.

This role is not a sit-at-the-back-of-the-classroom position; you will work with small groups and in 1:1 settings to support learning, behaviour, confidence and daily routines.

You may have experience in education, youth work, mentoring, prison/justice settings, care, sports coaching, residential support or behaviour work.
