Vector Recruitment Solutions are seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our client’s expanding commercial team within the civil engineering and utilities sector. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual with a strong eye for detail and commercial awareness to support high-profile infrastructure projects using cutting-edge and industry leading technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate cost estimates, valuations, and final accounts
Monitor project costs and drive profitability through cost control
Manage contracts and support contract negotiations
Support the Commercial Manager with dispute resolution and claims management
Submit timely and accurate payment applications / invoices and manage variations
Collaborate with project teams on financial reporting and forecasting
Requirements:

Experience as a Junior Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, or Trainee QS within Civil Engineering, Drainage, or Utilities
Knowledge of NEC, JCT, or similar contracts
Strong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and cost management software
HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineer or Construction Management (preferred)
Full UK Driving Licence
