Value Stream Leader - TE Connectivity
Job Overview
This is an exciting role leading and optimising a key value stream to drive quality, delivery and efficiency. You’ll collaborate across Operations, Supply Chain and Customer teams to achieve outstanding results. A great opportunity for a hands‑on leader passionate about people, problem‑solving and continuous improvement.
Your New Role- Value Stream Ownership:
Responsible for the overall performance of the assigned value stream (Product Line), ensuring achievement of key metrics such as quality, on‑time delivery and cost targets. - Assembly Operations Management:
Serve as the owner of the Assembly value stream, overseeing scheduling, daily operations, coordination with demand planning for internal manufacturing and procurement functions. - Operational Reporting:
Act as the primary liaison between Operations and Supply Chain reporting structures, ensuring accurate and timely communication of performance data / improvement initiatives. - Customer Relationship Management:
Serve as a key contact for maintaining strong customer relationships both indirectly through Customer Service and Product Management teams and directly with customers when required. - Health & Safety Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations in accordance with company policies and government legislation. - Other Duties:
Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by the business to support operational goals and continuous improvement efforts.
- Strong understanding of Supply Chain processes and end‑to‑end operations.
- Proven People Management skills with experience leading teams effectively.
- Demonstrated Problem‑Solving ability, with a proactive and analytical approach to resolving operational issues.
- Experience in TEOA, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S implementation.
- Background in Planning and Scheduling activities or exposure to production scheduling systems.
- Working Product Knowledge relevant to the assigned value stream or product line.
- Experience in Customer Management and maintaining strong customer relationships.
