Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Assembly Teams operate assigned automated assembly machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity.

Members perform changeovers and setups according to the production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes, and document the results as required by quality procedures.

Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and the organization of the work area, and for following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble component parts of connectors according to work instructions/specifications or a qualified standard to minimise defects.
  • Work as a member of a team to assist the smooth running of the department and meet required output.
  • Follow TE Connectivity documented departmental fundamental rules and company procedures.
  • Maintain required standards in the assembling of connectors whilst ensuring good housekeeping disciplines.
  • Achieve the required cycle times as documented in the process routing and meet departmental efficiency targets.
  • Operate with minimal supervision, demonstrating self‑discipline.
  • Maintain quality, efficiency and housekeeping to required standards.
Qualifications
  • Good standard of education.
  • Good understanding of written and spoken English.
  • Practical mechanical aptitude demonstrated.
  • Assembly experience desirable.
  • Ability to follow instructions and read/interpret drawings accurately.
  • Good communication skills with ability to advise on process technical improvements.
  • Reliability and willingness to work additional hours when requested.
