Inside Sales Specialist
Location: Hastings, East Sussex, TN40 2GB
Contract: Full‑time, Permanent
Hours: 40 per week
We are looking for an Inside Sales Specialist to join our EMEIA Sales team. In this role, you will support sales growth across assigned territories by building strong customer relationships, managing enquiries, generating quotations, and identifying new business opportunities. Working closely with customers and internal teams, you will deliver an exceptional customer experience while supporting the sales process from enquiry through to order.
A key part of the role will involve responding to RFQs, preparing accurate quotations, proactively following up opportunities, and helping to convert enquiries into business. Your contribution will play an important role in driving customer satisfaction, account growth, and overall sales success.

- Be proactive, driven and active in customer engagement to support sales growth.
- Respond to customer enquiries efficiently, pursue opportunity discovery, qualify opportunities, and generate quotations within the CRM.
- Follow up on quotes in a timely manner as defined by KPIs.
- Utilise the CRM to ensure accurate, up‑to‑date data entry for informed decision making and personalised customer experiences.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction (internal and external).
- Develop knowledge of the KJLC product range and pursue professional development to maximise performance.
- Maintain professional sales skills including networking, communication, negotiation and organisation to protect the company’s reputation.
- Capture market intelligence related to competition, customer order timing, and quotation conversion.
- Manage the quotation process from receipt to order/resolution, including proactive follow up and identifying cross‑selling opportunities or alternatives; gather competitor intel as appropriate.
- Respond to incoming inquiries with consultative selling solutions.
- Grow assigned customers and territories, aiming to meet or exceed sales revenue and gross profit targets.
- Support product growth through product-related sales activities and competitive analysis.
- Provide information requested by management, including call analysis, customer feedback and KPIs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Proven experience as a sales professional.
- Self-starter with a track record of exceeding KPIs.
- Attention to detail.
- Experience in an inside sales or technical sales role.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with ERP and CRM applications.
Preferred
- Vacuum industry knowledge.
- Foreign language skills.
- Formal sales training.
- Project management experience.
- Technical sales experience.
