HGV Technician - Joining Bonus of £1,500!
Biffa Waste - St Leonards Depot
Salary: £21.44p/h
Shift Patterns: 06:00-15:00, 06:30-15:30, 07:30-16:30. Overtime & Call Out Available
Monday to Friday (45 hrs per week)

About the role:

• Maintenance and repair of vehicles and waste management handling equipment to meet health and safety legislation and DVSA requirements.
• Carry out scheduled preventative service and maintenance inspections to meet Biffa’s operating licence commitments.
• Work with a diverse fleet ranging from light commercial vans to 44t articulated specialist assets, providing learning and development opportunities.
• Previous experience as PSV Mechanic, Heavy Goods Technician, Lorry Mechanic, LGV Technician, HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic preferred.
• Skilled or semi-skilled technicians also encouraged; upskilling and career development offered.

• Fully skilled with a full level 3 HGV/PSV apprenticeship qualification / City and Guilds / NVQ qualification.
• Technician level.
• Minimum of a car/van driving licence.
• HGV licence desirable.
• IRTEC qualification desirable.
