Job DescriptionWaterfront Representatives support the efforts of the government program office on the waterfront and onboard naval vessels. Typical duties include:
- Coordinate waterfront meetings as needed for MACHALT installs
- Liaise between the PMs and the install teams, ship, port engineer and any other waterfront government agency
- Ensure all applicable documentation is correct and in place prior to installation commencement
- Conduct ship checks as required
- Provide installation coordination, technical oversight, testing, and documentation completion for all MACHALT installations
- Support RMMCO check in/out as needed by local On-site Installation Coordinator (OSIC)
- Ensure all installation drawing or instruction changes are properly documented and communicated to the appropriate POC
- Support post-installations lessons learned meetings
- Assist OSIC with any post installation testing/training as needed
- Demonstrated experience and comprehension of Navy surface ship operations, HM&E systems, combat systems, weapon systems and associated components
- Knowledge of the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM), NAVSEA Standard Items (NSIs), NAVSEA , as well as other applicable HM&E technical documentation
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with other teams across multiple technologies and platforms to create, edit, and submit a common product at or before established milestones
