Overview
We are hiring several Sheet Metal Workers/Installers to join our self-perform team for ongoing work at Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base and the surrounding area. All work is performed on the military base and is paid the required Davis-Bacon prevailing wage, specific to the Kings Bay military base.
Company: RQC, LLC is a full-service contracting and design firm that specializes in Design/Build projects for both public and private clients, with a primary focus on the Department of Defense.
Pay and BenefitsPay Range: $18.62 - $40.00 per hour

- Fabrication and installation of ductwork, air distribution, and HVAC equipment on an active construction site, ensuring work is done in accordance with relevant codes and using the appropriate equipment.
- Apply technical mechanical principles and maintain required safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.
- High school diploma or GED is the minimal education required.
- 4+ years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience as a journey-level sheet metal worker in a commercial or facilities operations setting; government, military, or large commercial construction experience is preferred.
- Per contract stipulations, access to SUBASE Kings Bay is limited to United States citizens only. Other work statuses cannot be considered for employment at this specific location.
All candidates must provide evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization at the time of hire, and successfully pass a drug screening and a Department of Defense background check for access to the job site at the military base (if applicable).
