At Ernulf we are looking for a Behaviour Support Worker to inspire positive change and empower our students. You will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour, supporting staff, and ensuring every child feels safe, respected, and ready to learn. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in behaviour management, a passion for supporting young people, and the ability to make a real impact on their lives.
Responsibilities- Support the implementation of the academy's behaviour policy and strategies.
- Work with individual students and small groups to address behavioural challenges.
- Assist in de-escalating incidents and managing behaviour in line with school procedures.
- Build positive relationships with students to encourage engagement and success.
- Collaborate with teachers, pastoral staff, and families to develop behaviour plans.
- Maintain accurate records of interventions and incidents.
- Promote a culture of respect, resilience, and responsibility throughout the academy., This is a fantastic time to join TEAM ERNULF on our turnaround journey. We have simple rules, centralised detentions, and we back our teachers - so that our classrooms are disruption-free. We do this to support our children who want to work hard and do well. A knowledge-rich curriculum, built on 'powerful knowledge', underpins our teaching and learning principles. We offer a traditional approach to teaching, following evidence-based research by Rosenshine. Our pedagogy is influenced by Teach Like A Champion (TLAC).
Stimulating lessons are delivered by teachers, who we back as the expert in the room.

- Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and safeguarding practices.
- Emotional resilience, patience, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
