Role: PCB Assembler
Location:
St Neots
Hours:
May vary
Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
Friday: 8:00am - 2:00pm
(40 hours per week, including 30 min lunch + morning & afternoon breaks)
Salary: £26,000+ (depending on experience)
My client has been established for over 30 years and is steadily growing. They design and hand-build our audio products in-house, giving you the rare opportunity to see your work through from start to finish. You’ll be joining a small, friendly, family-run team where independence and pride in workmanship. There’s no micromanagement—just quality-focused people who take ownership of what they build.
Responsibilities- Populating and assembling PCB boards
- Soldering high-quality electronic components to a professional standard
- Building audio units from scratch, including wiring looms and internal assembly
- Working with metal chassis and mechanical assembly
- Following job sheets and build documentation
- Testing and inspecting your own work to ensure exceptional quality
- Learning to build across the full product range over time
- Strong soldering ability with a focus on neat, reliable work
- Experience in electronic or PCB assembly (audio/electronics background desirable)
- Good practical skills and confidence working with your hands
- A methodical approach to assembly and attention to detail
- Pride in workmanship and commitment to high standards
- Self-motivated with drive and enthusiasm
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to learn, be trained, and take on new challenges
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
