Polytec are looking for an experienced Electronic Assembler to assemble, solder and wire PCB assemblies and units for our St Neots based client.

Responsibilities:

Assemble, solder and wire PCB assemblies and units to IPC-JSTD-001
Ensure inbuilt quality by following routers and inspecting own workmanship
Interpret and apply all drawings, instructions and documentation
Conformal coat and apply adhesives to products as per manufacturing drawings
Ensure Health & Safety Policies are adhered to

Requirements:

Ideally experience of working to class 3 on Power boards or aerospace product
At least 2 years' PTH soldering experience
Ability to interpret complex technical drawings
Ideally able to surface mount solder down to 0405 component level
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
