MRVT is seeking a Part-Time Transit Dispatcher to support daily transit operations and provide excellent customer service to our riders. This position includes varying hours, with most shifts occurring in the evenings, nights, and Saturdays, and some weekend availability is required. Operating hours are 6:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m. Monday–Friday and 9:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. Saturdays. The primary office location is Le Sueur, with dispatching performed in Saint Peter at certain times.
Training will be provided.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent; excellent communication, customer service, and phone skills; good computer skills using spreadsheets and databases; ability to read maps and provide clear written and verbal directions; ability to multitask, change focus quickly, and work collaboratively; ability to perform effectively in a busy and possibly emergency situation. Pre-employment drug testing and background check required.
