About the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Packer workers for a food production company in St. Peter, MN. In this role, you'll package finished products, inspect packaging for quality, and help keep the production line running smoothly. If you enjoy hands-on work and want reliable weekday hours with weekly pay, this job could be a great fit.
What You'll Do as a Packer - 1st Shift- Pack finished products into trays, boxes, and cases according to product specifications
- Inspect seals, lot codes, labels, weights, and packaging for quality and defects
- Build trays, label case boxes, and palletize finished products
- Monitor packaging quality and communicate issues to production and quality team members
- Assist with line setup, changeovers, shift changes, and cleanup
- Record and monitor product waste as required
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, safety, and GMP guidelines
- Ability to stand and bend for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
- Ability to read and write in English
- High school diploma or GED preferred
