Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver professional nursing care to clients in a therapeutic environment where safety and security are paramount. MSOP serves people who are court‑ordered to receive sex offender treatment via the civil commitment process.
Primary Responsibilities- Perform medication and treatment administration, assess client needs, and develop and implement client‑specific nursing care plans.
- Work as part of the team to provide comprehensive treatment, completing health assessment reports and participating in review meetings.
- Follow and enforce all security, safety and legal requirements to ensure a safe and secure facility.
- Serve as a positive role model to clients, demonstrating professional and personal behavior.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota.
- Recent graduates within six (6) months of completing a degree and taking the NCLEX‑RN are encouraged to apply; contingent offers may be made upon successful completion of degree and passing of NCLEX‑RN.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Experience in mental health or behavioral health settings.
- Demonstrated cultural responsiveness and experience working with diverse populations.
