Position: ALT036SS - Add' Language Tutor Elem Middle, Milltown Elem)
Additional Language Tutor Develop and strengthen students’ English language abilities in Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing. Support other subject areas with regards to content-area vocabulary; create a schedule for students to attend tutoring sessions; create an individual or group program using appropriate ALT resources; identify problem areas; collaborate with classroom teachers, Education Support Services Team and the District ALT Team, as necessary;

complete benchmark assessments at strategic intervals and attend district provided professional learning sessions. Travel within Anglophone South School District may be required for professional learning. QUALIFICATIONS Graduation from High School supplemented by the completion of an approved training course related to the field of work, and two years experience or demonstrated ability in tutoring, using additional language learning tools and methods for school aged children from diverse cultures, or equivalent combination of training and experience
