Band 6 Histology Biomedical Scientist in York

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and embed various tissue samples

• Conduct microtomy and prepare slides for analysis

• Stain slides to facilitate microscopic examination

• Aide pathologists in the diagnostic reporting process

• Maintain meticulous records of laboratory activities

Requirements:

• Current HCPC registration required

• Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent qualification

• Proven experience in Histology within a clinical environment

• Skilled in staining and microtomy techniques

• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
