Practical Trainee - Manufacturing Process Development (m/f/d)

Our team develops and optimizes manufacturing processes, defines production parameters, supports ongoing products in production, and collaborates closely with manufacturing sites around the world. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated Practical Trainee who is eager to apply scientific knowledge to real-world engineering challenges.

In this role, you will support our team in investigating and understanding complex material systems used in hearing aid manufacturing. A particular focus will be on the protection of solder joints against corrosion through specialized coating technologies.

Your Responsibilities
  • Characterize and evaluate material systems, solder joints, and protective coating technologies
  • Support the development of internal testing standards for corrosion protection technologies
  • Conduct laboratory experiments, technology analyses, and feasibility studies
  • Organize and perform various measurements in our test and analysis laboratory
  • Analyze and interpret experimental data and measurement results
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation
Your Profile
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master's degree in Materials Science, Physical Chemistry or a related scientific or engineering discipline
  • Strong interest in materials, manufacturing technologies, and laboratory work
  • Analytical and structured way of thinking

    Independent and proactive working style
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English (German is a plus)
  • First exposure to laboratory testing and technical documentation
  • Knowledge of material characterization methods is a plus
