Registered Nurse – Med/Surg 2 / Short Stay – P/T with Benefits Days

Join JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute as a part‑time Registered Nurse on a 3‑day per week schedule with full benefits.

• Deliver nursing practices according to evidence‑based research, policies, and standards of care to ensure safe, individualized patient care.
• Communicate with patients, nursing colleagues, and all members of the health‑care team regarding status, care plans, and treatment.
• Administer medications using bar‑scanning and documentation technologies.
• Document all patient assessments, plan of care, interventions, and evaluation electronically at point‑of‑care.
• Educate patients and families on health, wellness, and disease management.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary discharge and transition of care.

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license.
• BLS/CPR certification by the American Heart Association.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within 3 years of hire.
• At least 6 months of nursing experience or active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health’s Nurse Residency Program.
• Strong ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing needs, and focus on teamwork and patient outcomes.
• Telemetry experience preferred.

Minimum rate of $43.77 hourly. The posted rate is an estimate of the minimum base pay. Final compensation may vary based on market data, experience, education, benefits, and other factors.
