Registered Nurse – Float Pool – Per Diem Days
JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute, part of Hackensack Meridian Health, is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool for Per Diem Days. Join our team of dedicated professionals who provide expert patient care 24 hours a day across multiple facilities.
Eligibility & Qualifications- Valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license is required.
- Current BLS/CPR and ACLS certification by the American Heart Association is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
- Experience in Critical Care, Stepdown, or ED preferred.
- Telemetry certification preferred.
- National certification preferred.
- BSN in progress or willing to acquire within 3 years of hire.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, and maintain a strong focus on teamwork and patient-centered care.
- Deliver nursing practices based on evidence-based research, policies, and standards of care to ensure safe and individualized patient care.
- Communicate regularly with patients, nursing colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams regarding patient status, rendered care, and treatment plans.
- Utilize bar-scanning and documentation technologies to administer medications safely.
- Document patient assessments, plan of care, interventions, and evaluation of care in the electronic medical record at each point of care.
- Provide patient and family centered education to optimize health and disease management.
- Participate in multidisciplinary discharge planning to ensure safe transitions and continuity of care.
Minimum rate of $43.77 hourly. HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency. The posted rate is a reasonable good faith estimate of the minimum base pay and does not reflect the full value of our market-competitive total rewards package.
