REGISTERED NURSE - FLOAT POOL - F/T DAYS

Southern Ocean Medical Center, Manahawkin, New Jersey.

• Deliver nursing practices according to the most up‑to‑date evidence‑based research, policies, and standards of care.
• Communicate continuously with patients, nursing colleagues and the healthcare team about patient status, rendered care and treatment plans.
• Administer medications using bar‑scanning and other modern documentation technologies.
• Document each patient’s assessment, plan of care, interventions and evaluation in an electronic record.
• Provide patient and family‑centered education to optimize health, wellness and disease management.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary discharge planning to ensure safe transition and continuum of care.

• Current and valid New Jersey nursing license required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred or completed within three years of hire.
• American Heart Association BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum one year of nursing experience required, critical care or emergency room experience preferred.
• Strong teamwork, accountability, dedication to continuous education and a passion for delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care.

• Minimum rate: $43.77 hourly.
• Base pay may vary based on market data, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, internal equity and budget considerations.
