Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Per Diem Nights

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department provides direct care to a variety of complex patients, focusing on achieving desired outcomes through effective communication and coordination with the healthcare team. This per diem night position is ideal for those looking to expand their nursing skills in a dynamic environment.

• Pay: $43 - $43/hour
• Location: Manahawkin, NJ
• Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health
• Department/Unit: Emergency Department
• Schedule: Per Diem, Night shift

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health.
• Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
• Develop a plan of care with strategies and interventions.
• Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively.
• Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Administer medications utilizing advanced bar-scanning technologies.
• Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes.
• Initiate interventions related to changes in patient condition.
• Adhere to the American Nurses Association Code for Nurses.

Education:

• Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required; BSN in progress preferred.

Experience:

• Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey.
• BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.
