JOB SUMMARYOpenwork, formerly Meador Staffing, is hiring a friendly and professional AP/AR Clerk in Stafford! If you’re customer-focused, and enjoy helping people, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:- Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Ensure Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable data from the Transportation Management System is exported to the accounting system
- Process daily customer invoicing and vendor payables ensuring they are accurately recorded in the accounting system
- 5 or more years' Experience in accounting or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software (Quick Books)
- Major ERP system experience with SAP is required
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Other basic office duties – answering phones, filing, etc.
- Monday - Friday
- 8:00am - 5:00 pm
