Overview

SAExploration is a leading full-service seismic company and is currently seeking experienced and qualified Field HSE Advisors to support our operations throughout the United States. The candidate must reside in the United States.

Positions are field based and perfect for energetic safety advocates who will coordinate and provide specialized HSE support to the field operations, site management, employees, and sub-contractors.

Responsibilities
  • Advise and provide support to day-to-day operations and implementation of HSE standards, programs, and policies at the field project level.
  • Advise and assist the project management in maintaining compliance with applicable legislation.
  • Conduct site orientations, inspections, meetings, work observations and daily interaction with personnel in the field environment.
  • Complete daily reporting entries specific to the project and client needs.
  • Incident investigation and reporting.
  • Assist with company driver compliance (regulated and non-regulated).
  • Develop and maintain project-specific HSE documentation (HSE Plans, Risk Assessments, Emergency Response Plans, etc.).
  • Assess and assist with maintaining personnel training requirements.
  • Be active and mindful within industry initiatives, regulatory updates, and compliance.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • REQUIRED - Experience in providing HSE support within the seismic industry is a requirement. Applicants who do not have HSE field experience will not be considered.
  • Ability to travel and work within a field rotation (typically 42 days on / 14 days off).
  • HSE related certification (NEBOSH or similar, preferred but not required).
  • Experience with incident investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Valid, basic driver’s license.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office and the ability to create professional documentation.
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written.
  • Ability to speak in front of groups (conducting training, addressing crew start-ups, etc.).
  • Bilingual – English and Spanish (not required but considered an asset).
