In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Designing, developing and implementing PLC programs to control industrial machinery and processes.
- Performing system integration, testing, and commissioning of PLC systems.
- Developing and maintaining HMI (Human-Machine Interface) and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting for PLC systems and related hardware and software.
- Create and maintain documentation for PLC programs and systems.
- Collaborating with other engineering teams to ensure the integration of PLC systems with other control systems.
- Staying up to date with the latest developments in PLC technology and recommend improvements to existing systems.
- Providing training and support to other specialists and technicians on PLC systems and programming.
Quickly and decisively take action in fast-changing, unpredictable situations. Persist in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and setbacks. Actively listens and checks for understanding. Provides timely and helpful information to others across the organization. Deals comfortably with the uncertainty of change.
For This Role, You Will Need:- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience working with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with CAD software for robotic design.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python or Java.
- Knowledge of industrial automation systems and controls.
