We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Consulting Senior Accountant to join our team in the construction industry. This role is perfect for an experienced professional looking to apply their skills in a fast-paced, challenging environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all accounting operations related to income statements, financials, Great Plains, intercompany, and balance sheets. Responsibilities:

As a Consulting Senior Accountant, you will be expected to:

1. Oversee and manage all general ledger activity, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, including but not limited to, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial report preparations.
2. Prepare and analyze monthly income statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports.
3. Utilize MS Dynamics software to manage and streamline accounting processes.
4. Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are promptly resolved.
5. Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
6. Ensure compliance with all internal controls, policies, and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
7. Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.
8. Provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management including preparing board presentations, financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunities, acquisition analysis, and other projects requested by senior management.
9. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and accuracy of financial processes.

Qualifications:
