Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and industrial services, is seeking a Hydro Test Technician to join its manufacturing team in Stafford, TX. In this role, you will perform hydrostatic pressure testing on valve components and assemblies to ensure they meet quality, engineering, and safety requirements.
Location:Stafford, TX Pay Range: $18-19 or DOE
Shift: 6am - 3:30pm What's the Job?
- Perform hydrostatic pressure testing on components and assemblies
- Set up and operate testing equipment, gauges, and fixtures
- Inspect parts for leaks, defects, and other nonconformances
- Read and follow work instructions, engineering specifications, and testing procedures
- Document test results and maintain accurate records
- Use measuring tools and inspection equipment to verify product quality
- Follow all safety, quality, and environmental requirements
- Communicate testing results and discrepancies to supervisors
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1+ year of manufacturing, assembly, quality inspection, testing, or industrial experience preferred
- Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
- Experience using hand tools, measuring instruments, gauges, and inspection equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Experience with pressure testing, valve assembly, or SAP is a plus
