  • Prepare relevant financial information to support tax and VAT reporting requirements.
  • Liaise with external auditors and assist with audit requests.
  • Maintain robust financial controls and identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems and reporting.
  • Undertake ad hoc financial projects and other duties as required.
About you:
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, with at least two years of post-qualification experience.
  • Working knowledge of UK VAT and tax-related accounting requirements.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and an understanding of internal financial controls.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems and data.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial information and communicate findings clearly.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, timely work.
  • The ability to build effective relationships at all levels of an organisation.
  • The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
