Administrator (12 Month Fixed-Term Contract) 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract £28,000 - £30,000 Full-Time | Office Based Potential for Permanent Employment A well-established engineering and manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Administrator to join its team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation operating within a specialist market, supporting a variety of functions including administration, customer service, purchasing and supply chain activities.

The role offers genuine potential for a permanent position for the right individual.

The Role Working within a busy office environment, you will provide administrative support across several departments, ensuring data is processed accurately and day-to-day operations run smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:

General administrative support Processing customer orders and maintaining accurate records Data entry and data validation Managing documentation and filing systems Supporting purchasing and supply chain functions Liaising with customers and suppliers via telephone and email Assisting with export and customs-related documentation Updating information within internal business systems Supporting colleagues across multiple departments as required About You We are looking for somebody who is highly organised, detail-focused and enjoys working in a collaborative team environment.

You will ideally have:
Previous administration experience Strong attention to detail and data accuracy Experience using Microsoft Office, including Outlook Excellent communication and organisational skills A proactive and positive approach to work The ability to manage multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment
