You will ensure the smooth day-to-day running of administrative processes, enabling practitioners and managers to focus on delivering effective services.
Key Responsibilities Providing high-quality administrative support to the team. Organising and coordinating multi-agency meetings and events. Arranging appointments, visits, and schedules for social workers, managers, and family support staff. Preparing documentation and maintaining accurate records. Taking minutes at meetings where required. Acting as the first point of contact for the team, responding to enquiries professionally and efficiently. Supporting the team in meeting statutory deadlines and service requirements.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
Excellent organisational and administrative skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Experience of managing competing priorities and working to deadlines. Good IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office applications.
Experience of minute-taking and event or meeting coordination (desirable). Knowledge of legislation, policy, and guidance relating to children's and young people's services (advantageous).
