The successful candidate will play a vital role in the smooth day-to-day running of the school's administrative function, serving as the first point of contact and helping to ensure an efficient and welcoming environment for all.

The Role

* Respond to emails and general correspondence in a timely manner.

* Support with the distribution of post and other communications.

* Maintain accurate school records, databases, registers, and administrative systems.

* Monitor pupil attendance and support attendance procedures.

* Ensure visitor sign-in processes and safeguarding protocols are followed.

* Maintain a clean, organised, and professional reception and office environment.

* Assist with general office administration and provide support to senior staff as required.

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of school administration services.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

* Previous experience in an administrative, receptionist, or office support role.

* Experience working within a school or educational setting would be advantageous but is not essential.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

* Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.

* High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

* A professional and friendly approach when dealing with pupils, parents, staff, and visitors.

* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Why Apply?

* Competitive salary package.

* Supportive and friendly working environment.

* Opportunity to play a key role in supporting pupils and staff.
