Project Manager; Refurbishment Projects

Find Core are thrilled to be assisting a specialist heritage construction and restoration business with the recruitment of a Project Manager – Heritage Works.

Permanent position. This role will be based in Penkridge, Staffordshire, with travel to project sites as required.

This is a practical, hands-on position within a small specialist contractor, managing heritage, refurbishment and conservation-led projects rather than large main-contractor developments.

Salary

£45,000–£50,000 (Higher salary can be discussed dependent on suitable experience), depending on experience + potential vehicle or vehicle allowance + possible performance-related benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day responsibility for the delivery of small heritage and refurbishment projects.
• Manage two small works teams, including two Team Leaders and approximately eight employees overall.
• Plan and sequence projects, typically valued at around £40,000.
• Turn agreed scopes of work into practical and achievable site delivery plans.
• Ensure labour, materials, subcontractors and site access arrangements are in place.
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety and costs against agreed expectations.
