Leasowes Primary School – Part time Teaching Assistant (1-1 Support)

Hours – 15 hours per week (Mon-Fri mornings)

Job Type – Fixed Term Contract (July 2026), Part-time (Term time only)

Salary – Grade 4 point 5 – £25,583 (pro-rata actual salary £9,006)

Current SESAT schools – SESAT is made up of two large and highly successful primary schools:
Barnfields Primary School and Leasowes Primary School. This has been verified by Ofsted, where Leasowes Primary School achieved a grading of outstanding in all areas.

You will:

• Support learning and progress, following guidance from staff.
• Deliver focused provision to meet the needs of the child on a 1-1 basis and work alongside existing staff.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and form positive relationships with children and staff.

• Previous experience of working with children with SEND is advantageous.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A kind, caring and nurturing approach to the children.
• A high standard of professional conduct.
• The ability to work effectively under the guidance of the teacher.
• The willingness to take part in all aspects of school life.
