About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Art Teacher with a passion for teaching A-Level Art to join our state school in Staffordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Art Teacher with experience in delivering A-Level content, to inspire and develop students' artistic talents at the highest level. You will be responsible for teaching A-Level Art alongside Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, providing expert guidance to students aiming for top academic and creative achievements.
WhatWe’re Looking For
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Art, Fine Art, or Art & Design.
- Has proven experience teaching A-Level Art, with a track record of success in preparing students for high academic achievement.
- Is passionate about art education, with the ability to inspire and motivate students in A-Level and GCSE Art.
- Demonstrates strong subject knowledge across a range of artistic media, including drawing, painting, printmaking, and digital art.
- Is committed to delivering engaging, student-centred lessons while maintaining high standards of behaviour and achievement in a state school environment.
- Is enthusiastic about contributing to the wider school community, including involvement in extracurricular activities such as art clubs, exhibitions, and school projects.

What You’ll Be Doing- Teaching A-Level Art, along with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring that students are well‑prepared for exams and develop their artistic skills at the highest level.
- Planning and delivering high‑quality lessons in a range of artistic media, including drawing, painting, printmaking, and digital art.
- Providing constructive feedback to students, assessing their progress, and tailoring your teaching to support individual learning needs.
- Encouraging students to think critically about art, push creative boundaries, and achieve their full potential.
- Contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular activities such as art exhibitions, clubs, and creative projects.
- Collaborating with colleagues to continually develop the art curriculum and ensure students receive the best possible education.
