Cover Supervisors Needed Burton

Positions Available: Long-term, short-term, and day-to-day roles

Pay: £90 - £105 per day (dependent on experience)

The Supply Register is seeking dynamic Cover Supervisors to join our vibrant team, working across John Taylor Multi-Academy Trust schools in Burton
. We welcome individuals from a variety of backgrounds, including experienced teachers, sports coaches, youth workers, or anyone eager to expand their teaching skills.

• Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain on task and complete assigned work.
• Maintain classroom behaviour and create a positive, respectful learning environment.
• Support students with any questions or difficulties they may have while working on the lesson materials.
• Report any concerns or issues back to relevant staff, ensuring effective communication with the teaching team.
• Foster an inclusive, engaging, and safe classroom environment for all students.

• Experience: Previous experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting.
• Enhanced DBS: Must be registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).

• Behaviour Management: Confidence in managing student behaviour and keeping them engaged.
• Adaptability: Comfortable working in different classrooms and subject areas.
