We are looking for a warm, dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and welcoming primary schools across Stafford and the surrounding areas. This is a truly rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference, working closely with a pupil who will greatly benefit from your guidance, encouragement and expertise to help them thrive within a mainstream school environment.
As a supply 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will create a safe and supportive environment where the child you are working with feels secure, valued and encouraged to reach their full potential in every school you visit. This role is offered on a temporary basis; we can provide day-to-day, short-term or long-term placements within our schools across Stafford and the surrounding areas.
The role includes:
Providing 1:1 teaching assistant support for a pupil within our Stafford Primary Schools.
Working for a reputable education agency - Academics Ltd.
Working alongside the class teacher to provide general support for the class where needed.
Assisting class teacher in adapting classroom activities and resources to meet the pupil's needs.
The ability to create and foster an inclusive, safe and warm learning environment for the pupils within your care.
Work alongside teachers, SENCo, and external professionals.
Support the pupil's social, emotional, and academic development.
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience working within primary schools (1:1 experience desirable)
Is patient, caring, and reliable
Enhanced DBS
Available to start ASAP
Is able to follow guidance and adapt support to individual needs
Ability to support a primary classroom with general support.
Fully registered to work for Academics Pay: £90 - £100 a day (dependent upon experience). Holiday pay is included on day rate.
