Required: 2nd March 2026

Temporary until 17th July 2026 dependent on SEND funding.

Part time. Term time only.

10 hours per week. 45.05 weeks per year.

Salary: £25,185 (pro rata)

The pupils, staff, parents and governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to work with a SEND pupil in our Year 6 class.

The ideal candidate will have:
Experience
  • Experience of working with children/young people, specifically working with children with SEND.
  • Experience in KS2
Qualifications/Training

TA specific qualification equivalent to NVQ Level 2 or 3.

Knowledge/Skills
  • An understanding of the varied needs of children as they develop socially and academically.
  • A knowledge of behaviour management techniques that support school and classroom practices.
  • Knowledge of restorative practice to support SEND pupils.
  • Willingness to take part in appropriate training and personal and professional development
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Ability to use ICT/the internet and email to support pupils' learning.
